Meet Your Hosts

Kimberly A. Udlis, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP
Associate Dean and Chief Nurse Administrator
Nursing expert Dr. Kimberly A. Udlis leads the nursing programs as the associate dean and chief nursing administrator. Kimberly helped bring new technology to Marian’s state of the art program including four high fidelity simulators that allow students to experience patient care scenarios. She holds an MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and a PhD in Nursing from Marquette University. Kimberly holds a number of additional certifications and has been published more than 25 times.

Katie Hughes, DNP, RN, CNE
Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Nursing Program Director
Dr. Katie Hughes is the director of Marian’s undergraduate nursing program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science, Clinical Focus: Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing with a Functional Role: Nurse Educator from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her professional nursing experience includes Assistant Professor of Nursing at Marian University, Clinical Site Coordinator, Marian University, Adjunct Faculty at Marian, and experience as a nurse clinician. Katie has completed extensive research on nurse education topics, participated in curricular development, and has presented on topics ranging from nursing leadership to evidence-based practice.

Lori Yogerst, MSN, RN
Assistant Professor, RN to BSN Program Coordinator
Lori Yogerst has served as a faculty member for more than 10 years and now serves as the RN to BSN program coordinator at Marian. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee and her BS degree from Winona State University. Her clinical experience includes work as a charge nurse in critical and cardiac care and consulting.

Rose Adelbush, BSN, RN
Marian Student & Graduate
Rose Adelbush is an MSN student at Marian University and a graduate of Marian’s RN to BSN program where she received an award for her outstanding leadership. Rose has clinical experience as a travelling nurse providing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women of late preterm and term gestation in both rural and urban communities. She also serves as the Lead Obstetrics Clinical Educator at Orbis – Concordia St. Paul. As a graduate of the program Rose will highlight her time at Marian and career benefits.
